HID Global®, a worldwide leader in secure identity solutions, today announced new senior appointments in the Asia Pacific region to drive profitability and growth. Lee Wei Jin has been appointed the new Head of Secure Issuance for Asia Pacific, and Jordan Cullis has been promoted to the Head of Identity Assurance, Asia Pacific.
“The new roles will work closely together to streamline our brand and continue to grow HID Global’s business in the region,” said Simon Siew, Managing Director of APAC. “Lee and Cullis bring deep expertise on Genuine HID products and solutions, as well as a wealth of industry experience to their new positions. We are excited and confident that we have a unified and extremely talented management team to take the business forward in Asia Pacific.”
Leading the secure issuance business in the region, Mr. Lee will partner with the Global Product Marketing team to define strategic planning for Secure Issuance across Asia Pacific. Lee has over seven years of experience at HID Global, where he held a number of strategic positions with progressively increasing levels of responsibility at the company.
Jordan Cullis will lead the team of sales managers as the new Head of Identity Assurance in the Asia Pacific region, where his primary focus is to spearhead HID Global’s continued growth in the market. Mr. Cullis has been an integral member of the HID Global for more than five years and achieved significant sales growth as the previous Director of Sales of Australia and New Zealand.
Cullis and Lee’s previous roles have be filled by the two new HID Global team members, with Tevin Cheong assuming the role of Director of Sales, ASEAN and Steve Katanas as Director of Sales, Australia and New Zealand:
- Mr. Cheong is responsible for setting the business objectives, strategy development and maximizing the company’s sales revenues and profits across the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), and he brings over 12 years of experience in security and project engineering with a variety of companies in the industry.
- Leveraging his industry experience and deep relationships with partners and customers, Mr. Katanas is charged with leading HID Global’s sales initiatives and maximizing performance for distributors and resellers across Australia and New Zealand, while increasing value for end-users. Prior to joining HID Global, Katanas held several leadership positions in technical support, product marketing and business development with a major security system provider.
