ST Engineering Pavilion

Organised around the Aviation, Defence and Smart City clusters, the 2,000 sqm pavilion showcases the Group’s latest innovations and solutions at the intersection of technology, engineering and innovation that empower organisations to be more automated and data-driven, to drive enhanced decision-making and response.

Aviation – Proven solutions for an aircraft’s total lifecycle needs

The Aviation cluster showcases the Group’s extensive capabilities in supporting an aircraft’s entire lifecycle, from designing and manufacturing to maintenance and asset management.

Solutions on display include the AirFish Wing-in-Ground craft that the Group is showcasing at the Airshow for the first time; unmanned air systems featuring its latest DrN-Series drones for longer range missions; aircraft modification capabilities including 757 Passenger-to-Tanker conversion; end-to-end manufacturing solutions utilising advanced technologies; and its suite of integrated maintenance offerings across airframe, component and engine.

The showcase also highlights key aviation trends such as sustainable aviation through the Group’s Passenger-to-Freighter conversion programmes that give ageing aircraft a new lease of life, and the increasing use of AI and smart technologies in areas such as aircraft maintenance and unmanned aircraft systems to enhance work processes.

Defence – Future battlefield technologies that enable mission success

The Defence cluster spotlights battlefield technologies integrated with frontier technologies such as AI and robotics, extending human capabilities and serving as force multipliers to meet evolving security challenges.

Making its first public appearance is the newest addition to the Group’s family of land platforms – the Terrex s5 Infantry Fighting Vehicle.

Equipped with advanced vetronics and a hybrid electric drive option, it is a production-ready, 8×8 armoured fighting vehicle.

Its modular design and ability to transverse various terrains allows the vehicle to be highly configurable to a wide range of mission roles.

The innovation showcase extends to the Group’s suite of weapons and ammunition, as well as unmanned and autonomous solutions which are modular and configurable for various payloads.

These include the 40mm Low Velocity Automatic Grenade Launcher which has remote operation capability and a unique electric-driven belt feeding system; the Multi-Role Unmanned Ground Vehicle that is towable and fully electric; the New Generation Assault Rifle which offers the advantages of a bullpup rifle while preserving the features of an assault rifle; as well as the 7m Unmanned Surface Vessel for excellent sea keeping, search and firefighting operations.
