
Security and surveillance camera company POLYTRON.AI has appointed Anwar Abdullah as its new chief executive officer.
As the CEO, Anwar will steer the company’s global expansion and lead the charge in improving AI-driven technology solutions for diverse industries, with a particular emphasis on security and surveillance.
Anwar, a seasoned leader with over 30 years of service in Singapore’s Ministry of Home Affairs, brings invaluable experience in high-stakes security and crisis management to POLYTRON.AI. He has held key positions, including chief executive of the Home Team Academy and deputy commissioner of operations and policy for the Singapore Civil Defence Force. His expertise in overseeing transformative security operations, leading large-scale crisis management initiatives, and his extensive public safety training background are poised to drive the next phase of growth for POLYTRON.AI.

Anwar’s international footprint is also significant. He played an essential role in over ten humanitarian missions globally and was integral to the ASEAN Agreement on Disaster Management and Emergency Response (AADMER). As part of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA), he contributed to the revision of critical international disaster management guidelines.
Under Anwar’s leadership, POLYTRON.AI will strengthen its strategic partnerships, particularly in sectors such as public safety, security, and emergency management in Asia and the Middle East. By integrating locally made 360 3D camera technology into the fabric of security infrastructure, Anwar is committed to advancing POLYTRON.AI’s role in redefining operational efficiency, real-time monitoring, and critical decision-making in security applications.
