CNet Training’s technical education programs will be of even more value as they are now approved by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the world’s technical professional organisation for the advancement of technology.

Those who attend CNet’s programs and who are IEEE members benefit from gaining IEEE Professional Development Hours (PDH) which result in IEEE Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Not only will those who successfully complete CNet’s programs receive the official CNet certification, they also have the option to apply for an IEEE CEU certification, making it even more credible.

CNet’s technical programs form The Global Digital Infrastructure Education Framework, which offers sector professionals an opportunity to plan education programs that meet their on-going development needs. It is recognised and respected all over the world and provides designations that have become key skills reference points that allow those holding them to clearly demonstrate their ability and experience. Each program has been designed to address the skills and knowledge requirements of those working in different areas of these vibrant and fast-moving sectors. Whilst the programs flow perfectly from one to another they are of equal value as stand-alone programs, plus you can enter the framework at any level depending on your level of experience.

All of CNet’s programs from The Global Digital Infrastructure Education Framework are approved by the IEEE, from qualification level 3 right through to the world’s only Masters Degree in Data Centre Leadership and Management, which is a level 7 program.

IEEE LogoThe IEEE started in 1833 and the international company is well respected all over the globe and has over 423,000 members in 160 different countries. IEEE and its members inspire a global community to innovate for a better tomorrow and its highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities. IEEE is the trusted “voice” for engineering, computing, and technology information around the globe.

CNet’s President and CEO, Andrew Stevens, said: “CNet’s programs are of huge value, but we are delighted that they are IEEE approved too. Having this approval makes them even more valuable and sets them apart from the rest whilst providing extra benefits to the IEEE members. Now, those who attend CNet’s programs can benefit from being awarded CEUs, which will be instantly recognisable by those in the industry. It also demonstrates a commitment to continuing education, demonstrating their efforts to ensure their skills remain professionally certified and current.”
