STTGDC has completed its acquisition by a KKR-led consortium comprising funds managed by KKR and Singtel, and has launched a refreshed global brand as it positions itself for further expansion in data centre infrastructure aimed at cloud and AI workloads.

In a statement issued via Media OutReach Newswire on 2 September 2026, STTGDC said the ownership change is intended to provide long-term capital and increased financial flexibility, while maintaining continuity in strategy and leadership. The company said customers will continue to be served by the same leadership team.

STTGDC said it will retain its name, with the refreshed brand anchored in the phrase “Built Ready”, which it described as reflecting a focus on “reliable, resilient and AI-ready” infrastructure across Asia, the United Kingdom and Europe.

“Today marks the most important turning point in STTGDC’s evolution since we founded the company more than 12 years ago,” said Bruno Lopez, President and Group CEO of STTGDC. “The completion of this transaction signals the beginning of a new chapter for our company.”

The company reported that since the end of 2025 its operational capacity has increased by 25% to 780MW. It also said contracted capacity has grown by 50% and annualised earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose by 30% for the period from December 2025 through June 2026, citing continued demand from hyperscalers, cloud service providers, AI customers and enterprises.

STTGDC framed its near-term challenge as converting demand into delivered capacity, citing factors such as power, cooling, design, supply chains, financing and local market conditions. It said it has “close to 2GW of powered land secured” for assets under construction and pipeline development.

By market, STTGDC said it operates 34 data centres across 10 Indian cities with more than 613MW of IT capacity. In Indonesia, it said it is expanding its Jakarta campus with a development pipeline of more than 360MW of AI-ready IT capacity backed by secured power. In Singapore, it referenced its selection to develop 50MW of “sustainable, AI-ready” data centre capacity.

On sustainability, STTGDC said 83.2% of electricity consumption across its operations is sourced from renewable energy and that it has surpassed its 2028 carbon intensity reduction target three years ahead of schedule.
