CrowdStrike and Telkom Indonesia have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at expanding AI-focused cybersecurity offerings in Indonesia, including potential managed security services and Telkom’s internal adoption of CrowdStrike’s Falcon platform.
Under the MoU, the companies said they will combine CrowdStrike’s Falcon platform and security services with Telkom’s local operations, customer base across public and private sectors, and infrastructure. Telkom also plans to standardise its cyber defences on the Falcon platform, according to the announcement.
The agreement includes exploring managed security services built around CrowdStrike’s Falcon AI Detection and Response (AIDR), which the companies said is intended to support enterprise AI adoption by providing visibility and enforcement “from the endpoint” and across the enterprise. The parties also plan to form a joint team to develop offerings designed to protect AI agents, models and systems.
“AI is transforming how organizations operate and how they run cybersecurity programs,” said Jonathon Dixon, vice president and managing director, Japan and Asia Pacific at CrowdStrike. “Telkom shares our commitment to securing Indonesia’s AI future, bringing AI-powered protection and security for AI to the organizations powering the region’s digital transformation.”
Telkom Indonesia Director of Strategic Business Development & Portfolio Seno Soemadji said the collaboration is intended to help customers improve detection and response capabilities, and to strengthen Telkom’s internal security teams and analysts.
The announcement did not include commercial terms, timelines, or details on how any joint managed services would be packaged or delivered, beyond the intention to explore development and go-to-market initiatives.
