Darktrace Appoints Sumit Bansal as VP, Asia

Cybersecurity company Darktrace has appointed Sumit Bansal as its Asia vice president, focused on the key markets of ASEAN, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea.

Leveraging his deep understanding of the security landscape and strong networks of CISOs and channel partners, Bansal will drive Darktrace’s growth strategy in the company’s key Asian markets and expand the customer base, partner footprint and market presence.

Bansal’s extensive leadership experience spans more than 25 years, including roles with CheckPoint, Symantec, Sophos, and most recently as Vice President for APJ at BlueVoyant.

He brings a wealth of expertise building high-performing teams, redefining go-to-market strategies, and forging strategic partnerships with key cloud service providers, such as Microsoft and AWS.
