Avanade has appointed Megawaty Khie as the new regional managing director for Southeast Asia, effective immediately. Based in Singapore, Khie will report to Avanade Asia Pacific President Bhavya Kapoor.
In the role, Khie will be responsible for driving the growth of Avanade’s business and expanding Avanade’s position as the leading Microsoft solutions provider across the Southeast Asia region. Khie will also lead Avanade’s team of digitally skilled professionals and innovators across Southeast Asia.
Khie joins Avanade from Google where she led channels and strategic partnerships for the Google Cloud business in Southeast Asia and launched Google’s Cloud Region in Jakarta during her time as regional director for Indonesia and Malaysia. With 30 years of experience spearheading growth across the Enterprise, SMB and Consumer segments, Khie also held a variety of leadership roles at Microsoft, SAP, IBM, HP, Dell, and Singtel.

Khie holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Marketing.
